Become a technology partnerWith over 16 years of experience in developing energy management and operations solutions, we are among the pioneers of our industry. At Younicos AG, our team played a key role in implementing innovative battery storage projects at home and abroad – including Germany’s first battery storage power plant qualified for the primary control reserve on the European interconnected grid for WEMAG AG in Schwerin-Lankow.
We, Jens Ramlow and Martin Spiegel, recognised the growing need for maintenance and further development of existing battery storage plants and left Younicos in 2017 to found SCADA-Automation GmbH. Former Younicos clients were looking for a reliable partner to safeguard their plants for the long term – SCADA-Automation became one of the few companies able to provide the necessary support and service.
Our approach was fundamentally different: while others focused on server-based solutions, we chose a control-based approach with robust, industry-standard energy protocols. This ensures not only greater security and stability but also gives our clients personal control over their energy systems.
Today, we combine industrial, certified standard control components and energy management with modern cloud solutions. This enables remote, vendor-independent monitoring of battery plants and storage parks – providing our clients with flexibility and security in a dynamic energy landscape..
We think across disciplines, develop flexible control solutions and support projects all the way through to successful implementation. Let’s find out together if we are the right partner for your requirements. Get in touch with us today for a no-obligation conversation – and let’s explore the possibilities.
