Scope of Services

We provide control and automation engineering, programming and system implementation. We develop and integrate smartBattery control solutions and the smartEMS™ energy management system for microgrids and battery parks, as well as highly customised software modules.

Plant Controllers and Grid Protection

We implement the Bachmann SPPC as a certified plant controller for power generation systems. Our solutions enable the integration of different battery storage systems and multiple battery units for efficient long-term operation, including through our proprietary PrioHUB software module.

We optimise the utilisation and service life of battery energy storage systems (BESS) and generating units, ensure compliance with grid operator requirements, provide web-based visualisation of the controller and the overall system and, where required, combine the individual systems into a smartEMS™ solution.

Generating Unit Control Modules

We develop customised industrial control systems that combine inverters with one or more batteries to form a controllable generating unit, or smartBAT.

These systems are based on the standardised SmartBattery Interface (SBI), which we developed to enable the control of different battery and inverter combinations. The modules can be integrated natively into the Bachmann plant controller and are also suitable for use in critical infrastructure.

Operation and Maintenance of Battery Storage Power Plants

We monitor battery storage systems continuously and/or at regular intervals and respond appropriately to changing operating conditions.

We help ensure safe and reliable operation by carrying out necessary measures such as repairs and updates. In coordination with the customer, we maintain remote access to enable operational intervention when required.

We review and analyse the operating environment on a monthly basis and provide recommendations for further action. We also support customers with system expansions, coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers and provide ongoing operational support.

SCADA Cloud

We develop, operate and provide an IoT data cloud as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution for the operational management of energy systems.

The platform is hosted exclusively in Germany and is based on European and open-source software. It integrates customer-specific systems from different manufacturers, particularly battery storage systems and renewable energy systems (RES).

The platform records and processes operational and fault data in real time. It is connected through a certified M2M telecommunications network in compliance with KRITIS requirements.
